Oracle's process for adding new document types?

We've been adding new document types (UDC 00/DT) in E1 9.0, and are wondering if we're in danger of overlapping with any document types Oracle added in E1 9.1 or may add in the future.  It appears that the ranges of document types beginning with "X" and "Y" are set aside as "User defined" for customers to use.

Is there a document that describes Oracle's process for adding new document types?

Is there a document that shows what new document types have been added in E1 9.1?
