Standalone Essbase in Exalytics

I am semi involved with a project to port Essbase and Planning to an Exalytics appliance.  Our performance is slower than our non-Exa instance. I don't see any mention in Essase logs of Exalytics integration. Does the Exalytics side log any Exalytics interactions. I am specifically interested in how the OracleHardwareAcceleration TRUE essbase.cfg setting affects the system.
