conversion in middle of the month as a part of Go-Live activity

Can we do conversion in middle of the month as a part of Go-Live activity . My cleint does not want to close periods in old legacy system due to some business reasons and hence we may need to go-Live in mid of the month ..just want to know the pros and cons of this ...also we may need to run conversions twice, one post go-live too, if we have first conversion on go-live date and second conversion after period close in legacy...just want to know possible impact area on this activity ...
