headerless detail form

Hi. I have created a custom headerless detail form with business view over F0717. The user will be able to modify several records at once in the grid. The primary index of F0717 is AN8, PCT# and ROEN. These fields are included in the business view.  Only AN8 is in the grid and PCT# and ROEN are not in the grid. The record is being modified picks up PCT# number from another record and saves that PCT# number even though there is no PCT# in the grid and my code does not reference PCT# anywhere in the application.

If I remove the PCT# field from the business view, will the correct record be updated even though PCT# is part of the primary key? In removing the PCT# field from business view, I'm hoping that it will prevent it from being updated.
