Transaction Processor Problem - R12.1.3.

Hi,

The transaction processor mode is set as Background processing mode. There are Sales Order type transactions which fail to interface with two typical errors:

Case 1. Negative balances not allowed.

Case 2. An error occurred while relieving reservations.

Case 1, When checked for the setup, the check box for negative balance is unchecked in the system. We do not want to drive negative balances to inventory and therefore would like to keep the same settings. My question here is if the item at the time of booking does not have enough quantity why is the system directly not backordering these items instead of getting into error at the transaction processor interface? How can I prevent this?
