HFM translates using incorrect FX rates

In our LIVE application certain entities are translating using the worng exchange rates. the rates that have ended up being used seem to bear no relation to any that are held within the application. Rather more disturbingly, in an identical Development version of the application the translation works correctly.

I have checked the following:

All base level data is correct in both applications

The Rules files are identical

The metadata is identical

The flags on the accounts that denote the rate to be used (ASSET, LIBILITY etc.) are all correct.

The stored exchange rates are identical.
