Custom Export

We are on 8.1.1.11.3 version and have a requirement to create a custom export i.e. extract the data for quote header as well as quote line items with quote item attributes in an excel file and email the file.

Please could you suggest if there is a OOTB way to achieve this  or do we need to take the route of custom escripts to achieve the same?
