recapturing debug log could result in less size ?

Hi, i got a customer sending me a quite huge big file size ; it's about 2.5gb..is that normal ? what if i move that log away from the location and recapture the log...could it be less size ?

Error : " Commit failed or was cancelled " in match voucher with open receipt

pls advice...

Tool release : ?  (Type ptf.log in window runbox) 6.4 8.96.4.0

Enterprise server OS : ? AS400 V5R4M0
