Standard Costs not transfering to projects module

In Oracle, standard cost updates that happen in inventory do not transfer to the
projects module, even if the items being updated are in a project cost
group.  This is “standard functionality” and is definitely in their
documentation (Oracle Cost Management User’s Guide).  But, this
“functionality” does cause us a variance between the GL and project costs,
obviously, since the costs go through the GL COGS accounts at the revalued
amount but remain at their original amount in Project costing.

So the fact that the cost updates do not transfer to projects is documented, but
what’s not documented (that I can find) is anything about the logic of
