Default Access change to no access or extremely limited

I am having an issue with the default settings that I am
hoping someone can enlighten me on.

It appears that the default access permissions are tied to the Consumer
role. I want to restrict the default access to no access or at least no ability
see anything other than the landing page. I have tried several changes all
which did not work. I am new to the Oracle environment so I apologize for my
ignorance. The security model in BI Pub is set to Oracle Fusion Middleware.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to restrict default access to
view nothing?
