Disable Lot control for few items

Hi,

We maintained lot for all items so far. Now we need to manitain for few items and others not. Problem is we had qty for the items which we dont want to mantian Lot now. We know it will not allow to change as On hand qty exist , but is there anway to do not generate Lot for next receving.
