I am looking to installed Goldengate on an intermediate server due to low ram on source database.  I will be using Goldengate to do two-way (bi-directional) replication between two servers.  I would like to install Oracle 11gR2 EE binaries on an intermediate

server that will allow me to point to the source database and to the target database.  I few concerns:

a. Will an intermediate server allow me to set up bi-directional replication?

b. Will the majority of RAM needs come from the intermediate server?

c. Is there any documentation from Oracle on how to do this?

d. Are there any issues with setting up Goldengate in this configuration?
