Import updates to A BP across multiple shells

Is it possible to import updates to a BP's data across multiple shells? Our shells have the region and district associated to a property on them. We renamed some of these regions and districts on the shell but this did not trickle down to the BP's associated to them. This is causing a nightmare for reporting and managing of work. If I had the record number, and the updates I would like to make across all BP's, is there somewhere I could upload these? The bulk edit feature is not a viable option as there are about 45,000 of them.
