VBC Popup Applet is read-only on NewQuery

Hi,

I have configured a VBC which populates data correctly and records are editable when in Edit/Edit List mode, but when I use Query the popup applet's list columns become read-only and user is not able to enter any query criteria.

Anybody know why I might be getting such behavior, I have added Query webtemplate and all list columns are added as webtemplate items.

I have raised an SR meanwhile I thought I will ask it here.
