Is the shutdown/startup procedure for DBnodes/CellServers the same for X2 as it is for V2?

I have some non rolling maintenance coming up on X2- Exadata. I have a procedure that works very well for V2  dbnode and cellserver shutdown/startup is the procedure the same for X2? I did not see knowledge base article.
