OPM Recipe allocation for ASCP
In our setup we are running R12 OPM and ASCP. I have a particular product line where a finished good can be created from 2 different Ingredients. Each Ingredient is actually a semi-finished good that, by Item number, represents a specific Plant/Line combination.
My setup:
Sourcing Rules
- ProductA : Make At: Org1
- Ingredient1 : Transfer From: Org2 : 100%
- Ingredient2 : Transfer From : Org3 : 100%
Recipes
- X-1 : ProductA : Ingredient1 : Priority 1
- X-2 : ProductA : Ingredient2 : Priority 2
- Forecast Demand is loaded for ProductA
- ASCP will source ProductA from Org1
- ProductA is 'Make At' for Org1, therefore ASCP will evaluate the Recipes for ProductA.
- Because Recipe 1 (X-1) has Priority 1, all demand will be exploded to Ingredient1
