11gR2 ASM and 12c Flex ASM - what ASM Client versions can co-exist ?

Hi,

in 11gR2 a $GRID_HOME running ASM must be the same or higher version than any $ORACLE_HOME of a ASM Client Database on the server that ASM services ( at least according to P1-11 of the 11gR2 Clusterware Deployment & Admin Guide ! )

Q1. I presume this refers to the complete release / patchset number rather than PSU number ? i.e. I presume you can have an $ORACLE_HOME at 11.2.0.4.1 whilst the $GRID_HOME of ASM is 11.2.0.4.0 ? The reason I suggest this is because note 1611875.1 seems to suggest there is an 11.2.0.4.1 PSU for Databases but not for Grid Infrastructure ( i.e. ASM ) ?
