Hi,

We have the following database charactersets when migrated from 10g to 11g  by using GG 11g.  And now, we are planning to do the reverse from 11g to 10g by using the Goldengate 11g and wondering  if the character set will cause any issues.   Please shed the light on this one.

1.  10g to 11g Migration by using  GG 11g.

Source Database Character set:  US7ASCII    --  10g database.

Target Database Character set:   AL32UTF8   --  11g database running on Exadata.

2.  11g to 10g Migration by using GG 11g.

Source Database Character set:   AL32UTF8   --  11g database running on Exadata.

Howdy, Stranger!
