Does db replay can be used in Database upgrade by transport tablespace

Hi experts,

According notes: How to Use Database Replay Feature to Help With The Upgrade From 10.2.0.4 to 11g (Doc ID 748895.1)

said:

1. Take backup of production before Load capture, so we can restore database on test environment and will run replay on same SCN level of database to minimize data divergence.

2. Restore database backup taken step one to test system and start Database.

We known the transport tablespace is need to create a new empty database, then the SCN is reincarnation.
