Fixing errrors from Doc Id 472998.1 - XDF files fail with ora-1430 errors

Hi there

I am on 12.1.3 on Windows 2003 Server (app server) with the 11.2.0.2 database on a Windows 2008 R2 server.

During a patch I am hit by the issues described in Doc Id 472998.1 - XDF files fail with ora-1430 errors

The description on how to fix it in unclear to us

How do I set the parameters on a Windows system in this particur case

1) registry

2) cmd promp using plain sets

3) environment vars

4) or ?????
