Is it possible to send automatic email notifications to customers with a predefined templates before

We have a requirement to send automatic notification to customer before contract expiration. Please let me know if this feature is available.

I know we can send the emails manual through Contracts Launchpad from Tools>Email Quote and also from Administrator Workbench>Email customers.

I am also aware that contracts can be automatically renewed before expire through a setup. However, I only want to email the customers without renewing.
