Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Displaying special characters with 'prompt'

Hi,

I have a maybe simple question but I was not able to find a solution ...

For generating a nice report with sqlplus I use the command 'prompt' to print some strings.

But prompt failed to print a text like ' test', 2 (two spaces andt he word 'test').

Is prompt able to display special characters like ' ' ?
