POS same rounded discount for different prices?

Hello,

We are using POS version 13.4.6 and are encountering a rounding situation that is not matching what our printer (fiscal printer) is expecting....

The scenario is:

Item A - Price 49.99

     discount 10%

POS screen shows as item discount amount 5.00

Item B - Price 50.00

     discount 10%

POS screen shows as item discount amount 5.00

Our printer states that the discount amount for item A is $4.99... Which to us seems logical (using simple rounding logic).... Now its obvious that there is some kind of rounding mismatch occurring between POS and our Printer....

If we take a scenario where we believe that the actual discount amount for item A should in fact be 4.99 and not what POS screen (and blueprint) is determining, is there any sort of configuration that handles or dictates this type of rounding and what it should be.... Not sure if this is something simple and just got missed during our install/configuration somewhere, or could this be related to some kind of bug....

Howdy, Stranger!
