What JDK version is compatible with Weblogic 8.x?

I have received the following question from a customer:

Issue what I faced is we are using in one system Weblogic 8.x with JDK 1.4.2. Server upgraded to JDK 1.6 which would require client upgrade too but we are not sure that this Weblogic version can cope with JDK 1.6 without any issues.  It would be excellent if you could help to get an answer asap from the experts.


Can anyone tell me?  Thanks in advance.
