Oracle Worklist Taskflow can only opens task details in separate browser popup window

The BPM Worklist task flow provided by Oracle to be used can only open the Task Details inside a separate browser popup window.

We hace requirements on which we should open task details from worklist in the same browser window (not opening a popup), so just opening page inside same browser.

We have tried to check if customization could solve this but it seems not, so our only one solution would be reconstructing whole worklist funcionality by ourselves using Java API, but our client enforces us on reusing what Webcenter Portal can offer in terms of reusability.

Do you havce any experience with this ? Could you please advice ?
