Problem caused by OATS

I am currently working on Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) application and we started automating oracle forms using OATS (openscript). The java version we test on right now is, java 1.7u51 .. after OATS is installed, the RMS application that used to launch previously, is not launching at all.. i dont understand what might be the issue.. are there any thoughts about why this could happen??.. does OATS have any dependency with any particular version of java??..

The version of openscript that i am using is :

            OpenScript

            Version: 12.3.0.1 Build 376

i would like to know if there is any update in the product that i am missing which could solve this issue!
