Calendar Alarm functionality with Siebel Open UI

The following question was raised through a service request, cross posting it here as it may be of help to other users:

We are looking into using the calendar alert functionality with open UI. Currently on 8.1.1.11 (Patchset 5) but noticed this is still not working at the moment. When can we expect this to be available?
