Service Contract Start Date

Hi,

I am creating a Service Contract from Order and the Contract Start date is based on the date entered in the Service TAB of the Order line. We have a requirement to create the Service Contract with the start date equal to ship date and for some the Install Date.

How can we achieve this? Do we need to customize the workflow to populate the dates?
