Smart Update 3.3 on JDK 1.5 ?

Hi all!

I recently inherited three servers running Weblogic Server 9.2.3 with JDK 1.5.0_12

We need to apply the last cumulative Weblogic patch "10625676 SU H425" to bring them current.

The Dev server has Smart Update 3.3, while the Test and Prod servers have SU 3.1

I applied the patch in Dev using SU 3.3 GUI with no problem, but before I attempt to install the other two I need to answer these questions:

1. Will SU 3.1 properly support applying H425?

2. If not, then how did SU 3.3 get installed on JDK 1.5?

- According to the documentation, SU 3.3 requires JDK 1.6 to install (I tried to run the installer to check this and it errored out as expected).
