Receiving corrections - what concurrent program updates the PO after doing a receiving correction?

When doing a receiving correction for a line item on a PO, when is the PO updated and what concurrent program determines this? Example; do receipt of 10 for an item on a PO where 25 were ordered. Do a receiving correction of -9 as only 1 should have been received. PO should reflect that 24 still need received. However, if user immediately tries to do another receipt, PO qty shows 15 still to be received.
