Cost Groups

in Inventory Management - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi All,

what is impact of cost groups and how to test a configured cost group

Per my understanding  cost group is set of accounts and whenever a transaction occurs accounting is done through CG

For example          Receive material   Material a/c  get hit        but when we use Cost group for a subinventory then  Material a/c  is not derived from org parameters instead derived from cost group
