Creating new calculated fields in Answers

Hi

I have created three new calculated fields in an Answers analysis and then I wish to create a fourth using these three calculated fields. The trouble Im having is that when adding in the new columns the entire expression appears and not the field name. This making the expression difficult to maintain and for others to understand what fields are being used. Is there a way to just display the column name in the expression?
