Can we rebuild APPS, APPLSYS, PO schemas indexes online?

Hello,

What are the steps needs to be considered while doing index rebuild online for an Oracle EBS database. We are planning to rebuild indexes on our APPS/APPLSYS/PRODUCT schemas and last time when we did online, there were few errors saying they are being used,so we had to do it after stopping the applications.

Is there a way to find what indexes can be rebuilt online. What are the limitations?

Online index rebuilding has stricter limitations on the maximum key length that can be handled, compared to other methods of rebuilding an index. If an ORA-1450 (maximum key length exceeded) error occurs when rebuilding online, try rebuilding offline, coalescing, or dropping and recreating the index
