Sparc M6-32 Provisional Power

Hi, we have a customer with a Saprc M6-32 and they have a provisional AC outputs for the platform. They have a 2 outlets for any power grid in the platform. Now, the customer want to change the connection to the permanent AC Outputs without turn off the platform. Can we turn off 1 power-grid and make the change and later the other power-grid? Can we disconnect the input cables of 1 power-grid without any risk? Is this a valid suggest to the customer? it is Safe?
