Min-Max items - unable to create a requisition

Hi, min-max running fine gut a group of items failing with "unable to create a requisition". All underlying parameters are OK, sourcing, blanket, asl etc and I can also add the same items manually on a Purchase requisition. The only differance is that these items are not costed / expense - they are inventory / stockable etc but no cost. I ahve also ensured that I have approvals to cover the expense account of the item. Is there a debug functionality I could use? or any other ideas
