I am part of the asmadmin group, but can not use acfsdbg

I would like to use acfsdbg (read operation) and I am part of the asmadmin group, but I get the following error:

/sbin/acfsdbg -r /dev/asm/acfs-195

acfsdbg: ACFS-09130: Root access required

id

.....    503(asmadmin)

On some machines I can switch to root user and can use acfsdbg, but their are several machines I do not have root access to. Document E18951-03 tells me, that I can use acfsdbg if I am part of group "asmadmin", but for some reason this is not working.

I am glad about every hint.
