Suppress Standard Validation .e.g WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE

Hi,

Is there a way to stop a standard validation firing through triggers in R12 Oracle Apps standard forms.

The reason being, if the validation is not stopped, large amount of data correction is required.

This is required in Saudi HRMS>People>Enter and Maintain>Search for an Employee>Others Button>Previous Employement.

Put employer, put start date and press tab there is a standard validation firing APP-PER-449796....

Can this be stopped as a warning message instead of an Error message.
