Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Siebel Open UI, Tools, Scripting and EAI (MOSC)

Blank screen in OpenUI after applying 8.1.1.11.6

Hi,

I'm having again this blank screen issue with OpenUI

I had an existing 8.1.1.11.4 install, it worked in Opera/Chrome/firefox (OpenUI) /IE (HI + OpenUI) (in a windows XP 32 bits Virtual Machine)

I applied the 8.1.1.11.6 patch, no error reported during the install.

but now no browser would successfully open Siebel in OpenUI. HI with IE still works, though.

I just noticed that after Siebel opens the browser the siebel.exe just disappeared from the windows Task Manager.

I generated a level 5 log file but toward the end of the log, there is no error.

browser script were also generated again, to no avail.
