Upload of Assets that have had a change in depreciation method before the cut off date

Hello, how are you doing? I hope well.

I have a query:

Context:

Client changed depreciation method from declining balance to straight line in their legacy system. They are currently migrating data to Oracle.

Query

1. Would the upload of the asset register be the same as if there was no change in the depreciation method in the legacy system?

2. If the upload of the register is not the same as usual, how would one go about loading the assets.

Any help, documents and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
