ODA Serial console worked on 2.6 by default, stopped working after reimaged to 2.9

Hi,

We have an ODA X3-2 delivered with 2.6 image

When we used ssh client (putty) to connect to the ILOM and started the console (start /HOST/console) it worked nicely.

For experiments we re-imaged the box by downloading the OAKFactoryImage_2.9.0.0.0_140128.1.iso file.

The re-imaging worked nicely but the ssh ILOM serial console does not work anymore. After GRUB loads it keeps sending some garbage signals and does not react on any keyboard activities.

Is this intentional? Has anybody experienced this and have any workaround?
