Install BI Publisher Desktop on Citrix

Can the BI Publisher Desktop application be successfully installed and function properly via Citrix server rather than installing on user laptops or workstations? Are there known issues with attempting to do this? Would all of the features and functionality of the DESKTOP app be available ? in particular developing using the RTF template...........Could the Excel Analyzer be deployed on Citrix as well? Can development of reports be done in BI without the BI Publisher Desktop installed? If so what are the limitations or potential issues in doing so? .....Installation of the BI Desktop seems to be problematic, based on several
