JDE E1 HTML/App Server Inactive Session/connection Timeout Discussion

Hi everyone,

  We're currently setting up JDE 9.1 (coming from B7334/ERP8.0 - IE no HTML/Web).  Some of our (more vocal) users are used to logging in to JDE in the morning, and then opening all the applications they use, and leaving them all open all day.  This can include leaving their desk for an hour or more for lunch, meeting or whatever, and expecting all their applications to be running when they return.  So I would like to discuss what inactive time out settings other companies use, how those timeouts effect performance, and what hard limits there are to this setting.
