Calling Custom Workflow from Oracle Contracts OAF Page

We are in the process of upgrading to R12.  We are trying to customize the Oracle Repository Contract workflow to add some validations. lnstead of using the seeded workflow (OKCREPMA.wft), we would like to know the setups to call the custom workflow when a contract is submitted for approval. We would also like to know how to add custom validations to the seeded Oracle validations when submitting a Contract for Approval.  We would like to add validations to the seeded validations that are pertinent to the business users.


Does anyone have insights as to how we go about accomplishing this?
