unable to discover new Symmetrix/Clariion w/o reboot under solaris 11 SPARC 64bits

My Oracle RAC server getting new storage once a month and the only way to discover new LUNs is rebooting a server. Server running PowerPath

version 5.5 P01 Build 2.  The native devices are there in Format utility but NOT the emcpowerXX name.    powermt display dev=all  command do shows new emcpowerXX.  Any idea ??
