Oracle 11i - Journal Line Effective Date Derive?

Hello,  have a question on how Journal Line Effective date is derived in the table gl_je_lines, I see that for this Journal batch all the transactions at Subledger AR are created on various dates like from March 31st till April 11th, I am looking at one account entry for Credit and all invoices are with trx date of 11th April, and the actual Journal Batch is created and posted on 11th as well, what I dont understand is how did the effective date for this credit line I am looking is April 1st and also how is the header gl
