ASCP _ work order Component level explosion

Hi Experts,

we need to know below issue solution:

we have item

1  --> Produce item  X   --> which is used to produce Item -->  Y -- > which is used to produce Item  --> Z FG

Here the Y is intermediate item.

My question is if I plan Item Z FG in MPS and Plan items Y and X in mrp is that my component demand would be formed for X too??

since when the schedule of MPS is given to MRP I am sure that the component demand would be formed for item Y for the component (4,5) but I am not sure the component demand would be formed for item (1,2,3)
