Advanced Search option - Values associated to attributes through attribute editors need to populate

In the Advanced Search option of the Contributor interface, when we select an attribute for search, its prompting the user to key in the value to be searched. We need to pre-populate the attribute with values associated with the attribute editor. Can any one please help us with providing information on how can we achieve this?
