EBS R12.1.3 - Concurrent manager defunct process

Hi,

We have a setup PCP in  2 nodes.   In second node, we are seeing lot of defunct process.   This get cleared after sometime and concurrent processing is not affected.   We want to understand the reasons why CM  has defunct process in 2nd node only

any advice on how to troubleshoot this issue
