public ip from oifcgf getif not matching with ifconfig

Please help me understand that if I do oifcfg getif

I get the public ip on en0 which does not match with any of ip's on en0 wihc comes from output of ifconfig -a.The ifconfig -a and /etc/hosts match ip's for en0 but they do not match with public ip on en0 which comes from oifcfg getif.
