Budget Translation for only one Period

Hi, I'm hoping someone will be able to assist me with budget translation in release 12.1.3. When running budget translation on one ledger for a specific period, it only translates the period that was specified, which is correct when comparing to 11i. Although I am experiencing an issue with another chart of accounts within the same instance where when budget translation is run, it translates the budgets for the entire financial year from the period specified. Would anyone be able to give some insight as to how i can get this translation to only translate the period chosen and not
